A long lifespan of the screen fabric can be guaranteed, because the fabric is woven from glass fiber wires which are very strong and are coated with PVC. Of course you also want to keep your new shade sail beautiful for as long as possible. That is why we are happy to give you some maintenance tips.

Is there a layer of dust on your screen cloth? Then you can easily remove it with a vacuum cleaner. In most cases, gentle tapping or blowing on the screen of your screen is sufficient. You can clean the screen cloth with a soft brush, lukewarm water and a green soap. Never use aggressive cleaning agents to clean the screen cloth. In addition, we strongly advise against cleaning your screen cloth with a high-pressure sprayer. The shade sail is absolutely not machine washable. The heat will shrink the fabric. Do not place heat sources near the fabric.

Always try to clean stubborn stains as soon as possible and do not wait too long. Have you cleaned your screen cloth? Then let the cloth hang out for a while and dry. Was your screen cloth rained during a rain shower? This is no problem, provided you do not leave the cloth rolled up in the cassette. Allowing the screen cloth to air dry prevents weather stains and mold.

Remove the shade sail in a storm (wind force 6 or higher) to avoid damage.
